Haxonite is an iron mineral found in iron meteorites. It has a chemical formula of (Fe,Ni) 23C 6, crystallises in the cubic crystal system and has a Mohs hardness

It was first described in 1971, and named after Howard J. Axon (1924–1992), metallurgist at the University of Manchester, Manchester, England. Co-type localities, Xiquipilco and the Canyon Diablo meteorite, Coconino County, Arizona

It occurs associated with kamacite , schreibersite , pentlandite
